Julie Townend London and its affiliates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions.

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) outline the terms on which you may make use of our website www.julietownend.com (“Our Site”), whether as a guest or a registered user, including accessing, browsing, or registering to use Our Site.

By using Our Site, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use Our Site in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. By using Our Site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

These terms of use are subject to change at any time, including this page.

Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we may make, as they are binding on you.

You must not use Our Site in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the Site or impairment of the availability or accessibility of Our Site; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.

+ Licence and Site Access

Our Site is made available free of charge.

We grant you a limited license to access and make personal use of Our Site. This license does not include any resales or commercial use of Our Site or its contents, any collection and use of any products, any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions or prices, any derivative use of this site or its contents, or any downloading or copying of account information. Nor for the benefit of another merchant or any use of data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

Our Site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold – resold or otherwise exploited for any commercial use without the written consent of Julie Townend London.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access Our Site through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy and that they comply with them.

Our Site, and any of its content, are subject to change at any time, and we are under no obligation to update it.

We do not guarantee that our Site, or any of its content, will be free from errors or omissions.

Our logo font is made from onlinewebfonts.com and is licensed by CC BY 3.0.

+ Your account

You must treat your username, password and other confidential information as part of our security procedures. You must not disclose it to any third party.

If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your username or password, please contact us immediately.

We have sole discretion to disable any username or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time without notice or explanation.

+ Ordering

Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise.

Should such a situation occur Julie Townend London cannot accept your order. In the event of an error, you will be contacted with a full explanation and compensated accordingly.

The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon the supply of goods.

Please note that all made-to-measure and made-to-order pieces will need the following to be completed before manufacturing:

• Product information (style, colour, body measurements generated from our digital tailor feature*)

• Payment

• Contact information (name, email address, postal address)

*Please note that your measurements will be taken digitally. Once your order has been placed, we will send you a link to that service. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions closely for optimal accuracy. ONLY these parameters will be used to produce the final product.

+ Payment

Prices may be displayed in your local currency; however, all final payments are taken in GBP (£).

Our Site accepts all major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa and American Express and support Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Payment will be taken once your order is placed and you will receive a confirmation email. This will be reflected in your bank or credit card balance according to your institution’s standard processing time.

For card payments, all cardholders may be subject to authorisation and authentication. If the issuer of your payment card or our service provider refuses to or does not for any reason authorise or validate the payment, we will not be liable in these circumstances for any delay or non-delivery.

Please note that we are not liable for any charges or other amounts applied by your card issuer or bank as a result of our processing your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.

You may also purchase our digital gift cards from Our Site. They may be used to pay for the whole or any part of an order. Only one digital gift card may be used per order.

The balance on your digital gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or redeemed against the purchase of another card.

Your digital gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. A digital gift card cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed. The digital gift card will become invalid and will no longer be available for use. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry.

Please note that this item is ONLY refundable if the order is cancelled within 14 days of the purchase date, and if it has not been redeemed.

Promotional codes are for transactions on Our Site and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount; this includes reduction in price(s) during sale. The sum or percentage discount will be reduced from the order total excluding shipping costs.

+ Delivery and Returns

We currently only offer one standard delivery service within the U.K. capped at £10.

Please allow 21 to 30 days* for your bespoke order to arrive, counting from the day we have successfully received all information listed above.

*Delivery times are calculated in working days Monday to Friday. If you order after 16:00, the next working day will be considered the first working day for delivery. In the case of bank holidays and over the Christmas and Summer period, please allow more time. We will attempt to email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Should you wish to change your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within the first two weeks of placing the order and allow extra time to process your request accordingly.

All orders will be dispatched using Trust couriers, including DHL, FedEx and UPS.

Please note that your Julie Townend London made-to-measure and made-to-order product is a commitment, and is ONLY returnable and refundable if it arrives damaged. In this very unlikely event, contact us immediately so we can assist you accordingly.

Please note that this ONLY applies to any items that are new and unused, with the original tag intact.

Should the fit be unsatisfactory, please visit your preferred tailor* and provide us with a receipt, so we can cover up to £50 of the cost. This is our Perfect Fit Guarantee.

*Please note that we won’t be liable for any potential damages caused by your tailor, and your order will no longer be qualified for a return once it’s altered.

+ Intellectual property and Copyright

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights on Our Site, and in the material published on it. All content on Our Site is all owned by Julie Townend London and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may view, print extracts and download extracts Our Site for your own personal use subject to the restrictions set out in these Terms. Any extracts must always acknowledge Julie Townend London (and that of any named contributors) as the authors of this content.

Our Site and/or any of its content may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold – resold or otherwise exploited for any commercial use without the written consent of Julie Townend London.

You must not modify any materials you have printed or downloaded in any way.

You must not use Our Site and/or any of its content for commercial purposes without obtaining a license to do so from us.

If you print, copy or download Our Site and/or any of its content, you will be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, your right to use Our Site will cease immediately and you will be obliged to return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

Any content you contribute to Our Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties, including our digital tailor feature, any such content for any purpose.

We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to Our Site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any content posted by you or any other user of Our Site.

The views expressed by other users on Our Site do not represent our views or values.

Our Site is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, expressed or implied. The content on Our Site is provided for general information only. Nothing on Our Site constitutes or is meant to constitute, advice of any kind.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

use of or reliance on any content displayed on Our Site.

We do not guarantee that Our Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of Our Site or to your downloading of any content on it, or on any website linked to it.
